Apple TV announces 12 new shows and movies coming this year

Apple on Tuesday unveiled 12 new shows and movies that will premiere on the Apple TV streaming service throughout 2026.

Imperfect women

Based on Araminta Hall’s novel of the same name, Imperfect Women is a psychological thriller that “explores a crime that shatters the lives of three women’s decades-long friendship.” The series stars Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington and Kate Mara.

Margo is having trouble with money

“Margo’s Got Money Troubles” is described as a “bold, heartwarming and comedic family drama” that follows recent college dropout and aspiring writer Margo (Elle Fanning), the daughter of a former Hooters waitress (Michelle Pfeiffer) and a former professional wrestler (Nick Offerman). Margo has a new baby, bills are piling up, and ways to pay for things are dwindling.

Widow’s Bay

Apple says “Widow’s Bay” blends true horror with character-driven comedy.

Widow’s Bay is a “picturesque island town 40 miles off the coast of New England,” but “something lurks beneath the surface.” Mayor Tom Loftis (Matthew Rhys) is desperate to revive his struggling community, but as tourists begin to arrive, it appears that the locals may have been right that the island was cursed after all.
