A16z just raised $1.7 billion for AI infrastructure. Here it goes. | TechCrunch

Andreessen Horowitz just raised a tremendous ⁠$15 billion in new funding⁠ And part of $1.7 billion of that goes to himinfrastructure team⁠, which is responsible for some of its largest and most significant AI investments, including Black Forrest Labs, Cursor, OpenAI, ⁠ElevenLabs⁠, Ideogram, ⁠Fal⁠ and dozens more.

A16z ⁠infra team general partner Jennifer Li⁠ (who oversees such investments as ElevenLabs—just worth $11 billion); Ideagram and Fal have a clear thesis about where the team wants to spend the last part of the money.
