Apple Sports adds golf scores for PGA, WPGA tournaments

The latest Apple Sports update adds golf scores and stats, so fans can now get important updates from PGA Tour and LPGA Tour events.

Apple Sports is Apple’s free iPhone app that provides sports fans with at-a-glance scores, stats and more. In Wednesday’s update, the app expanded its coverage to include golf.

In the update, users can get up-to-date live scores for all official PGA Tour and LPGA Tour events, including majors. It all starts with the PGA WM Phoenix Open starting on February 5th.

Displayed results will include hole-by-hole figures, individual scorecards and live scoreboards. Results from each round during each tournament will also be provided.

As with other sports, fans can set specific professional putters as favorites, giving them quick access to their scorecards and records.

Different balls

While the main Apple Sports announcement involves golf, there are some other changes being made to the app.

Some federation cups in Europe are added for soccer fans. This list includes the DFB-Pokal, Coupe de France, Coppa Italia and Copa del Rey.

This is the latest expansion of the app after expanding availability in November 2025. While previously focused on the US, UK and Canada with limited European coverage, Apple has made the app available in over 20 European countries at the time.
