Apple turns 50 this year, and CEO Tim Cook has promised to celebrate the milestone. The big day falls on April 1, 2026.

“I’ve been unusually thinking about Apple lately as we’ve been working on what we’re going to do to mark this moment,” Cook told employees today. Bloombergis Mark Gurman. “When you really stop, stop and think about the last 50 years, your heart sings. It really does. I promise some celebration.”
