If you want your app development work to be recognized by Apple, and even have the chance to be invited to WWDC 2026, the Swift Student Challenge is for you.
Apple has just opened applications for this year’s challenge. The deadline for submitting contributions is February 28, 2026.
How can you win the challenge? Here’s Apple’s guide:
Swift Student Challenge winners will be selected based on submissions that demonstrate excellence in innovation, creativity, social impact or inclusivity. From this esteemed group, we will name distinguished winners whose contributions are truly exceptional and invite them to join us at Apple in Cupertino for three incredible days.
You can read some of the previous winners’ stories here, and Apple has compiled a list of resources and tools for participants here.
If you’re interested in signing up, read Apple’s full list of requirements here. And if you’ve won a Swift Student Challenge in the past, you can still enter this year.
Apple says, “You can win the Swift Student Challenge award up to three times. You can only be selected as a distinguished winner once.”
