Apple is set to release the first iOS 26.4 beta later this month, which will provide the first real look at the Apple Intelligence features promised at WWDC 2024. BloombergAccording to Mark Gurman.
Gurman revealed the timing in his “Power On” newsletter. Barring further delays, the first iOS 26.4 beta is apparently set to be released to developers the week of February 23rd. The update will “include some components” of Siri’s long-awaited improvements.
Gurman added that iOS 27 will bring further improvements to Apple Intelligence, but WWDC this year will be “quite a mutated affair.” The main new features will be a “more personalized Siri with a chatbot interface. Apple is said to be focusing this year on improving performance, fixing bugs and fine-tuning the design of its software platforms.
