London’s Regent Street Apple will reopen after refurbishment

Apple has announced that the refurbishment of its central London stores will be completed and Apple Regent Street is due to reopen on Valentine’s Day.

In early January 2025, Apple announced that its Regent Street location would be closed for unspecified renovations. It was part of Apple’s plans to remodel or open around 50 stores worldwide by 2027.

Apple said the shutdown, which began at 18:00 GMT on January 11, was temporary. It did not give a reopening date at the time, but has now revealed that the store will reopen at 10:00 GMT on Saturday 14 February 2026.

There are no details yet on what kind of renovation has been done. So far, Apple has only released an opening date and hasn’t announced what special event Today at Apple sessions often hosts at new or reopened stores.

In 2015, the store underwent a major renovation that saw the addition of an open central area filled with trees.

Before that, the store had many stone columns, but was still known for its lively events. In 2018, it was reported that the store hosted music events and controlled all audio from an iPad.
