Apple TV is expanding its sports offerings, starting by making MLS completely free for subscribers. With the new MLS season starting later this week, Apple TV has just shared a new promo video.

If you’re a sports fan, Apple TV has two big deals coming soon.
Next month, all F1 races will be streamed on Apple TV in the US. But even before that, the kick-off of the MLS season is about to take place.
Major League Soccer used to be a paid standalone subscription from Apple. It was called the MLS Season Pass.
But starting this season, full access to MLS is completely free for all Apple TV subscribers.

Every single match will be available to users worldwide, starting with the opening matches this Saturday, February 21.

Removing the additional paywall should hopefully help increase the popularity of the MLS. And also, of course, to provide another reason for football fans to stay subscribed to Apple TV.
