If you’re excited about Apple Intelligence on your iPhone and were hoping for a way to get a little cheaper, you’ll have to stick with the iPhone 16.
Apple has discontinued the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, which means the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models are the only way to get access to the new AI features.
That’s because the new phones have plenty of RAM (8GB, it turns out) and means anyone looking to take advantage of Apple’s clever new features on a Pro phone will have to spend a little more than they anticipated.

It’s not just the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max that got the shaft this week, as the company also finally took the wraps off the 2021 iPhone 13.
The Apple Watch Series 9 has been removed from sale and replaced by the Apple Watch Series 10, while the AirPods 2 and 3 have been replaced by the AirPods 4, and the original AirPods Max are finally gone too – after almost 4 years. They are replaced by the new USB-C version.
One thing that isn’t completely gone, however, is FineWoven. The controversial material is no longer used for iPhone cases, but can still be seen in a range of accessories.
