Following the first preview of iOS 26.4, Apple Music 5.2 entered beta earlier this week with three new features.
Playlist Playground uses generative artificial intelligence to “create a new playlist with just an idea in seconds.” You can access it from the top right corner of the Library tab.

The top half of this new interface can only be used to create a non-AI playlist. The bottom sheet lets you enter a challenge, with Apple Music offering “New Playlist Ideas” and “Suggested Tracks”.
Next up is a redesign of albums and playlists. This “Full Page Graphic Brings Your Music to Life” by extending the theme background to the playlist and other designs below.
The Play button is now centered, while the Shuffle is no longer a pill. Now it’s like a circle on the left while the download is on the other side. The Share menu will appear in the corner position. These button changes are a nice improvement for one-handed use.

Finally, on artist pages, you can see an “Upcoming Concerts” badge at the top. Scroll down to “All Upcoming Concerts” under the Top Videos carousel.
Apple Music 5.2 is currently in beta – join here or via the Google Play store listing – with a stable release to coincide with iOS 26.4.


Meanwhile, Apple TV for Android has added a “Formula 1” tab to connect to MLS in the bottom bar.
