Newly released videos from Apple’s two-day event focus on three key AI-related areas: reasoning and planning, agent applications, and model development. Here are the details.
Valuable material despite being seven months old
Last July. Apple held an event called the Workshop on Reasoning and Planning, which included presentations and discussions by Apple engineers and researchers from UCLA, Stanford University, UC Berkeley, among others.
Almost 30 studies were presented at the event, which were presented and discussed over the course of two days, you can find them all here.
Apple also shared eight keynotes from the event today, which included the following:
Despite the seven-month delay between these interviews and today’s release of the videos (which is an eternity considering how quickly these technologies are advancing), they’re still worth watching if you’re interested in AI reasoning, planning, and agent systems.
They offer valuable lessons about how Apple’s engineers and academic researchers think about the state of the art in these areas, as well as the open issues that shape where these technologies may go next.
