The free Apple Sports app just added golf to its growing list of supported sports.
Golfers can get live scores from all official PGA Tour and LPGA Tour events, including majors, on their iPhone. And the fun starts this weekend with the PGA WM Phoenix Open.
Apple Sports goes golfing
First introduced in February 2024, Apple’s free Sport app has quickly become a favorite among fans who want real-time access to scores, stats, standings and schedules from around the world of sports. Users can watch leagues like NBA, NFL, MLB, MLS, Premier League, LaLiga and NHL – with a choice of sports and teams.
And golf just got added to the list. Fans can follow their favorite players with hole-by-hole scores and individual scorecards. And there will be live leaderboards plus scores from every round during every tournament throughout the year.
And football too
In addition to golf, the latest Apple Sports update adds some of the most popular European football federation cups: the DFB-Pokal, Coupe de France, Coppa Italia and Copa del Rey.
Don’t forget that you can also watch Sunday’s Super Bowl with the app. Live Activity provides real-time updates directly to the lock screen of the user’s iPhone and Apple Watch.
Apple Sports is available for iPhone, iPad and Mac. It is free to use.
