Apple quietly invited journalists to preview its upcoming lineup of TV shows and movies coming to Apple TV later in 2026. Here’s everything that was announced.
During the Apple TV Press Day event, SVP of Services Eddy Cue spoke with F1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali, although this conversation was not shared with the public. Stars from Apple’s upcoming content lineup also took to the stage to discuss their projects, and Apple also reiterated its 2026 sports lineup, which includes F1, MLB and MLS.
Some of the announcements involved properties that were already known or had a season renewal. Others are all-new debuts with first looks and new release windows.
Upcoming new TV shows:
- Imperfect women: Kate Mara, Joel Kinnaman and an ensemble cast star in a psychological thriller that explores a crime that shakes the lives of three women in a longtime friendship. Available March 18, 2026.
- Margo is having trouble with money: Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer and Nick Offerman star in this comedic family drama about college dropouts, a Hooters waitress and a former pro wrestler as Margo deals with a new baby and mounting bills. Available April 15, 2026.
- Widow’s Bay: Matthew Rhys is the mayor of Widow’s Bay, with a secret hidden beneath him, desperate to revive the struggling community. Available April 29, 2026.
- Maximum pleasure guaranteed: Tatiana Maslany and Jake Johnson star in a comedy thriller about a newly divorced mother who falls down a dangerous rabbit hole of blackmail, murder and youth football after being convinced she witnessed a murder. Coming May 20, 2026.
- Cape Fear: Amy Adams and Patrick Wilson star in this remake of the 1991 classic about two lawyers who must navigate what happens when a notorious killer is released from prison and put behind bars, seeking revenge. As early as June 5, 2026.
- Happy: Anya Taylor-Joy stars as a young woman who has abandoned the life of crime she was raised in, but must now embrace her darker, criminal side in an attempt to escape her past. Available July 15, 2026.

- Eternity: Elizabeth Olsen, Miles Teller and Callum Turner end up in a posthumous love triangle where they have to choose between the man she spent her life with or her first love who died young. Coming February 13, 2026
- Result: Keanu Reeves stars as a beloved Hollywood star blackmailed into a potential career-ending video, joined by fellow cast members Cameron Diaz and Jonah Hill. Available April 10, 2026
- Dink: Jake Johnson and Mary Steenburgen star in a comedy about a tennis player who is injured and must do the unthinkable, start playing pickleball. Available July 24, 2026.
- Mayday: Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh star in this Cold War buddy comedy where a former KGB agent with a taste for American culture is discovered by a US Navy pilot trapped behind enemy lines. Available September 4, 2026.
- Movie Matchbox: An undercover CIA agent played by John Cena pulls his childhood friends into a frenzied international manhunt to save the world in this film inspired by Mattel’s tiny cars. Available October 9, 2026.
- Way of the Warrior Kid: Decorated Navy SEAL Jake, played by Chris Pratt, spends the summer with Marco, a kid struggling with bullying, and runs a program based on his SEAL training to help him use courage to face his demons, not fight. Coming November 20, 2026.

With all the new and returning shows and the growing selection of movies, it’s hard to call Apple TV a small streaming service. While Disney and Netflix still outnumber Apple’s library, there is no competition for the quality per capita that Apple offers.
So far, Apple has handled the need to retrieve catalogs with exception Fraggle Rock, Peanutsand A long way nonfiction series. The Apple TV app and streaming service is available on most modern platforms and smart TVs and costs $12.99 per month or is included in every level of the Apple One subscription package.
