Although it has since been dethroned as our favorite mid-range robot vacuum/mop hybrid, the X10 Pro Omni remains a solid choice thanks to its excellent AI obstacle detection, powerful oscillating mops and user-friendly app. The dual-rotation brushes can remove dried stains with 1kg of downward pressure, and the built-in water tank prevents the robovac from having to return to the dock frequently just to refill the tank. Unlike many robots in this price range, it also benefits from a heated drying feature – though not heated mopping – which prevents the base from smelling after repeated use.
On the vacuuming front, the X10 Omni features a single rubber/bristle roller brush and a suction power of 8,000 Pa, resulting in good performance on both carpet and tile surfaces. It also offers great AI-powered object recognition, allowing it to deftly avoid masses of pets, cables, toys and other objects that could hinder performance. Then there’s the Eufy Clean app – which lets you set schedules, set up no-go zones and create virtual boundaries – culminating in a still solid mid-range vacuum cleaner. The fact that it can automatically empty the dust container and refill its own water tank via the included multi-function dock only adds to its appeal.
