Apple’s early March announcements will feature at least five product launches, culminating in a three-location event on March 4, with the low-cost MacBook and iPhone 17e expected to appear.
The “Apple Experience” takes place on March 4, which is widely expected to include several product launches. While no one knows definitively what the company will promote, it will consist of many product launches.
In Sunday’s “Power On” newsletter for BloombergMark Gurman writes that Apple plans three days of announcements. They will take place on Monday, March 2nd until Wednesday, March 4th.
The final day will be the “Experience”, which will take place in New York, London and Shanghai, giving press and influencers hands-on time with the launch.
It also claims that at least five products will be launched during this period. The launch will not be limited to hardware products only, as it may also include chip launches and software updates.
Gurman has a good track record of accuracy when it comes to Apple reputations in general. In this case, his claims are consistent with other reports, incl AppleInsider expectations of the week.
Top candidates
The two main items Apple could launch this week are the iPhone 17e and a budget MacBook.
Based on the rumors, the iPhone 17e will be a special upgrade of the A19 processor used in the iPhone 17. Thanks to the 6.1-inch OLED screen, it is also expected to get MagSafe charging and Dynamic Island.
The A-series MacBook, which will use an A15 or A18 Pro chip instead of Apple’s M-series Silicon, will be a budget-focused model. With a 13-inch display, it will cost around $699 to $750 and has reduced specs to match.
It will also arrive in a variety of colors and retain the signature aluminum casing used by Apple’s MacBook range.
Other Macs are also expected to be updated, with the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips expected to arrive soon based on the release schedules of previous generations. The iPad Air and iPad will also be updated.
On the software front, the most obvious thing Apple could launch that needs some hands-on time is its long-awaited update to Siri. It was expected to come as part of iOS 26.4, but it didn’t appear in the initial beta.
The event could give attendees a preview of the new contextual digital assistant powered by Google Gemini before it rolls out to a wider audience in the upcoming iOS 26.5 beta.
