Apple TV shares first look at Jonah Hill’s dark comedy “Outcome,” a Hollywood tale of reckoning, reputation and the price of hidden mistakes.
Keanu Reeves stars as Reef Hawke, a beloved Hollywood actor forced to be lazy about his past after a mysterious blackmail video surfaced. Along with his lifelong best friends Kyle (Cameron Diaz) and Xander (Matt Bomer), he sets out to fine anyone he might hurt in hopes of uncovering the blackmailer.
The film also stars Martin Scorsese, Susan Lucci, Laverne Cox, David Spade, Atsuko Okatsuka, Roy Wood Jr., Kaia Gerber and Ivy Wolk. The movie was written by Jonah Hill and Ezra Woods.
The film will premiere worldwide on Apple TV on Friday, April 10. Apple Original Films picked up the film in 2023.
Hill is also co-producing the film with Matt Dines, his partner in Strong Baby, and the company’s Ali Goodwin. The project is produced by Apple Studios.
In 2021, it was announced that Martin Scorsese and Jonah Hill were working on another Apple TV project. Hill was reportedly set to play Jerry Garcia in a Scorsese-directed biopic about one of America’s most iconic bands, the Grateful Dead.
