Apple and the Super Bowl
The Super Bowl is this weekend (February 8th to be exact), which means we’re obligated to talk about Apple’s “1984” ad and Apple’s ties to the game.
Perhaps a side effect is that we’ll see less inflation in RAM requirements on Macs. Cheap RAM seems to have allowed lazy developers to build bulky, inefficient apps for too long because they could get away with it as RAM specs kept improving. Will there finally be an incentive to limit RAM usage if people just don’t want to spend the extra money (and require an Apple tax) to go up to 24 or 32GB?

Ads are a part of life and I accept them. You are doing a good job. You actually stole me from Macbreak and Upgrade because you are completely apolitical and only talk about a topic called Apple.

No ads please. One of the few podcasts I can listen to when I go to sleep. If ads were added it would no longer be possible. I can’t relax, “but ask your doctor about the xylophone first!
