The Beats Studio Pro ANC over-ear headphones have a good reputation, but you can often find them for a significantly lower price. The latest price is just $10 less than the lowest we’ve ever seen.
At around $170, it’s a good deal for headphones of this caliber. Beats Studio Pro are Beats flagship. When they came out in July 2023, reviewers loved them like Apple’s $549 AirPods Max. No one said Beats could be this good, but they weren’t too far off. One review from OVERHANG they said they were “almost AirPods Max Lite, but not quite”.

Here are some interesting comparisons from this review pitting the Beats Studio Pro against Sony’s flagship cans and the AirPods Max:
I’ve gone back and forth with these and the Sony WH-1000XM5, and the thing you’ll notice is that these are more aggressive headphones, which you may or may not like. The highs are a bit more sculpted and everything sounds a bit more forward, including the mids where the vocals live. Both the Sony and the AirPods Max are slightly quieter in comparison.
The high-end Beats headphones were replaced by the venerable Beats Studio3 in 2017. My roundup of Beats Studio Pro reviews said this:
“The general consensus among Beats Studio Pro reviewers is that the company has chosen to keep the iconic design with a few changes, such as softer ear cups. But some find it a bit cheap, ‘plastic’ and dated.
