The best iPad deals you can get right now

While the best iPad deals usually come during big sales events like Black Friday, many great iPad deals are available outside of these times. Daily discounts come and go like the changing wind, so there are often savings to be had, especially on Apple’s most affordable iPad, iPad Mini and the latest iPad Air. Heck, you’ll even often find discounts on the latest M5 iPad Pro, which is already on sale at multiple retailers. But if you don’t need the latest tech, now might be a good time to save on the M4 Pro as supplies dwindle.

All that said, it’s hard to know exactly where you can find the most eye-catching iPad deals unless you scour the major retailers daily. But that’s often what our bargain hunters deal with The Verge they do, so let us help you. Below, we’ve rounded up the best deals you can get on every iPad model available, from the entry-level 11th generation iPad to the more powerful models with the M3, M4 and M5 chips.

Apple’s 11th generation iPad landed on the scene in March 2025. The latest entry-level model of the tablet is a fairly iterative update of the previous model, but with 128GB of base storage (up from 64GB) and an A16 Bionic chip that’s nearly 30 percent faster than the A14 chip used in the 10th-generation iPad. However, the newer chip does not support the various Apple Intelligence features introduced in iPadOS 18.1 and subsequent updates. For this, you’ll want to opt for a newer model iPad Air, iPad Mini, or iPad Pro.

As for price, the latest iPad starts at $349 with Wi-Fi and 128GB of storage. You can also upgrade to 256GB or 512GB of storage for an additional $100 or $200, or buy the LTE model starting at $499. During Black Friday, we saw a pretty significant price drop to $279; But right now it’s available on Amazon and Target starting at $299.99, which saves you $50. Alternatively, if you need more storage, you might want the 256GB model on Amazon starting at $399.99 ($50 off) or the 512GB variant on Amazon starting at $599.99 ($50 off).

Tea iPad Mini seventh generation it’s similar to the previous model in several ways, but comes with some big internal improvements. It includes faster Wi-Fi and USB-C, support for the Apple Pencil Pro, and a newer A17 Pro processor with 8GB of RAM to support Apple Intelligence. Otherwise, it boasts almost identical specs and features to the last-gen model, meaning it has an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display and 5G capabilities. It may not be worth upgrading if you already own a sixth-generation Mini, but newcomers to the category will appreciate the upgrades.

The iPad Mini 2024 starts at $499 with 128GB of storage, which was the price of the previous generation’s 64GB model. The 256GB storage option brings the price up to $599, and mobile models start at $649. Those are big numbers for a small iPad, so the larger iPad Air might be worth considering if you prefer your dollar to go further with a bigger screen. But if you want the smallest possible Apple tablet, here’s the deal.

Right now, the base 128GB model with Wi-Fi is on sale at Amazon for $399.99 ($50 off), which is $50 off its all-time low of $349, which is rare. If you need more storage, you can pick up the 256GB variant on Amazon for $569 ($30 off), which is about $90 off the lowest price we’ve seen for the step-up configuration.

Tea iPad Air from 2025 it’s little more than a special jump from the previous model, with a few technical improvements that should allow it to outlast the entry-level iPad or the last-gen Air in the future. It features an M3 chip with Apple Intelligence support, plus compatibility with Apple’s latest Magic Keyboard, which has a larger trackpad and an additional set of function keys. In short, the Air is a reliable laptop replacement.

The 11-inch model starts at $599 and the 13-inch variant at $799 — the same price as previous models — but they’re commonly seen with discounts from third-party sellers. If you need more storage, you can get the 256GB model on Amazon starting at $589 ($110 off) or the upgraded 512GB model on Amazon for $779 ($120 off). While there are some deals out there for the M4 iPad Pro, we’d argue that none of them are particularly noteworthy given the current discounts on the iPad Pro 2025. Apple’s latest flagship tablet offers several improvements over the last-gen model, including a faster M5 chip, a new C1X cellular modem (if you get the cellular version), and an N1 chip that handles Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and fiber. Apple has also increased the read and write speeds of its memory, and the latest Pro supports fast charging, allowing you to charge it to 50 percent capacity in about 30 minutes.

Although the tablet was launched in October, we are already seeing a price drop at several retailers. For example, the 11-inch base model with 256GB of storage is currently $899.99 ($100 off) on Amazon, while the model with Wi-Fi and 512GB of storage is on sale at Amazon for $1,099 ($100 off). You can get the configuration with Wi-Fi and 1 TB of storage for $1,499 ($100 off) on Amazon.

If you want a bigger display, you can get the 13-inch iPad Pro in the base 256GB configuration for $1,149.99 ($150 off) on Amazon, which is the second best price we’ve seen. The boosted model with Wi-Fi and 512GB storage is discounted to $1,349 (also $150 off) at Amazon , while the 1TB model can be had at Amazon for $1,749.99 (a $150 discount), roughly $11 more than its all-time low.
